Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before engaging with Mirainow Interiors for design, consultation, and turnkey interior execution services.

Overview: These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of interior design, architectural planning, renovation, and turnkey execution services by Mirainow (Studio MIR) to clients in Bangalore and across India.

01 Scope of Services

Mirainow offers end-to-end interior design and execution services including:

  • Residential Interior Design (Apartments, Villas, Builder Floors)
  • Commercial & Office Interior Fit-Outs
  • Turnkey Project Management & Execution
  • Space Planning, 2D Floor Plans & 3D Visualization
  • Home Renovation, Remodeling & Refurbishment

Specific project deliverables, material specifications, and milestones are detailed in individual client proposals and contract agreements signed prior to project execution.

02 Design Proposals & Client Approvals

We work collaboratively with clients throughout the design phase:

  • Design Revisions: Layout revisions and material selections will be reviewed and finalized prior to factory manufacturing and on-site commencement.
  • Formal Sign-Off: All 2D drawings, 3D renders, itemized quotes, and material specifications must be signed off by the client in writing (or via email approval) before on-site civil and carpentry work begins.
  • Scope Changes: Any modifications requested by the client after formal sign-off will be subject to supplementary cost estimates and timeline adjustments.

03 Payment Terms & Milestone Billing

Our payment schedules are milestone-based, designed to ensure full transparency and aligned progress:

  • Booking Advance / Design Fee: An initial token advance is payable to initiate site measurements, concept drawings, and 2D/3D layouts.
  • Production Milestone: Milestone payment due upon design finalization to procure raw materials and begin factory processing.
  • On-Site Delivery & Execution: Milestone payment due prior to material dispatch to site and during on-site installation phases.
  • Handover: Final retention balance payable upon project completion, quality punch-list resolution, and handover.
  • Taxes (GST) are applied as per prevailing statutory rates in India.

04 Project Timelines & Handover

We commit to written timelines outlined in the contract agreement (typically 6–12 weeks depending on scope):

  • Timelines commence only after complete site handover with functional water/electricity access, builder clearances, and approved design drawings.
  • Mirainow is not liable for delays resulting from society/association entry restrictions, structural defects of the building, unforeseen force majeure events, or client-initiated scope alterations.

05 Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth project delivery, the client agrees to:

  • Provide timely site access, working permissions from apartment associations/societies, and uninterrupted electricity and water supply during work hours.
  • Review and approve drawings, finishes, and sample selections within mutually agreed timelines.
  • Ensure payments are cleared promptly at agreed milestones to prevent supply chain or on-site stoppages.

06 Intellectual Property Rights

All design concepts, 2D floor plans, 3D photorealistic renderings, technical drawings, and bespoke specifications created by Mirainow remain the intellectual property of Mirainow. Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use these designs solely for their specific property.

Mirainow reserves the right to photograph and record completed projects for portfolio, publication, and marketing purposes, while ensuring homeowner privacy is respected.

07 Warranty & Defect Liability

Mirainow stands behind its craft with defined warranties:

  • Standard manufacturer warranties apply to all branded hardware, laminates, appliances, and fittings.
  • We provide post-handover defect liability support for workmanship and installation issues as specified in your project agreement.
  • Warranty excludes normal wear and tear, water seepage originating from building structure, electrical surges, or unauthorized modifications made after handover.

08 Cancellation & Refunds

In the event of project cancellation before site execution, cancellation fees will apply based on the design hours invested and custom materials procured up to the date of cancellation notice.

09 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and all service agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
